Genesis is Moses’ first book, the book of beginnings. The first two chapters describe the beginning of the universe and the beginning of the human race. Adam and Eve, the first couple, are the pinnacle of God’s work, crafted in His very image (1:26) to live in fellowship with God and to reflect His glory.
